social networking

Social Networking

With more and more people of all ages becoming part of the growing social networking world, it is essential to communicate with others more clearly. In too many cases these so-called “social networks” can become a minefield for the uninitiated.

Did you know that over 86 percent of any telephone message is communicated through the tone of your voice? So be honest with yourself - and think - what percentage of your written submission to a forum is finding its mark?

Many mistakes or misinterpretations are a result of not
properly communicating your ideas or jumping in too soon and committing a string of words to paper.

In face-to-face discussion, even with the benefit of body language and everything else, good speaking skills are essential to help you articulate ideas and make them come alive for the listener, so think twice at the key-board.

Establish trust and respect from others. Your success within
any group of people - bearing in mind the varying intellectual levels - depends significantly on your ability to Speak/write to a group and hold their attention in order to achieve a common objective.

People with this ability have a glow of confidence.

Build your own overall confidence. As you become better at organizing and communicating your ideas effectively, this new found confidence will become part and parcel of your persona.

Not many people know it, but people who speak well are often perceived to be better looking, and who wouldn‘t call that an added bonus?.
